More rebuild questions.

time to start peeling away at it...
So I should be pretty much set then? All new heasd bolts/ studs need to be re torqued? Even if I went with OEM?
One last question, after the new motor I will be doing a custom exhaust from manni back. Is there any type of muffler that will flow well for na without losing a ton of back pressure?( I am buying a muffler and cat and custom all the piping.) I have searched the forums and sites like jegs, jcwhitney etc. and I don't really know what I am looking for. Any help would be very apreciated(SP?).
I know 2.5" is a good diameter for the piping. I assume the muffler doesn't matter too much, buy what sounds good to you. I think magnaflow mufflers are good for the price.
