i cant believe its been over a year since i updated this thread. anyway, the turbo, manifold, wastegate, oil lines, ported head, os ss valves, comp cam springs, ferrea titanium retainers, wiseco pistons, etc.. have all been sold. i figured out the cost of all the machine work etc.. and for my realistic power goal of ~600rwhp on pump gas, it just wasnt worth the remaining amount of money i needed to spend. i have too much other stuff going on.
soooooooo, saturday i bought this
and quite awhile ago i bought these from dave
and before that, i bought this adaptor from a guy on turbobricks. it bolts a t56 to a a340e bh. so will bolt my t56 up to the 2jz
and sunday, i started it. runs good. doesnt smoke or knock. its all good. hopefully tomarrow ill get it on the engine stand. prolly test fit the t56 to it first though. 6 wires to +12v, 1 to the neg terminal, then the power and gnd for the fuel pump in the bucket. last wire was the solenoid wire for the starter. heres a vid
