Tune is key. He can have all these nice parts with a shitty tune and make 300 hp. Get it tuned professionally!
You've got all the other neccessary components

Good luck with yours! Should be fun
FYI, every mines, blitz, xxxx modified ECU is differently tuned than another one. They were all ordered specifically from customers

Ya, that's what I was saying in my very fist post is that the tune is going to be key.

As far as the mines ecu goes, it has raised rev limit, tuned for 440's, no speed cut, new fuel map, and ignition timing has been changed. As soon as I get it I will email mines to have it varified. I'm going off from what opp has told me.

By the way, how's it going with the aem jeff???

AEM is up and running. I got my sequential fuel injector wiring harness all straight. Working some little tlc things now. Paint is next then tune. Parts are still coming in daily also. Just got a full 3in Exhasut from Dmotion and an HKS EVC-S Boost controller.

Made 420WHP at 23PSI ran out of fuel. Was on 92 octane pump gas. Got to start looking at how to break 500. Tuner said with a Bosch 044 Pump and Race gas i could Defiantly break 500 but i don't want to mess with race gas. Im am looking in to my options. Car is currently running at 385WHP at 14psi but getting the boost controller installed and will crank it back up.

Mods: Garret 67MM Turbo, AEM EMS, HKS EVC-S, AEM Wideband, PTE 1000s, Top Feed Rail, Walbro 255, Aeromotive AFPR, AN-6 Feed, 4" Intercooler, 3" Intercooler piping, Full 3in Exhaust, Tial MVS 38mm wastegate, Tial Q 50mm Blow off Valve, Flex-a-lite 220 electric fans, ACT HD 2600lb pressure plate, ACT Street Disc, Light weight flywheel, Driftmotion Polished Aluminum Pulley Kit and some other little things

Good numbers for pump gas, you will need another fuel pump for sure, also ensure that your coils are in good shape because if they are in bad shape it will cause spark issues. I just went through all this with my tuner, I just ditched the stock coils and went with the 1zz coils and currently I am installing dual fuel pumps, I have similar mods but I an running a stinger ecm and BC264's with a T66. I myself can't wait to get back on the dyno and I plan on running E-85 fuel.

you should be able to make better numbers than those.. a lot of folks manage ~450whp @ 18-20psi on a decent tune. that's with stock head..

also, I'm not sure why he told you race gas is needed (-more like preferred for safety).. 500whp is possible on pump (93 here), but it takes an aggressive tune, and a tuner that really knows what he's doing. In all fairness, my buddy did 506whp w/ PowerFC, but any more than that would have required race gas. The only thing I keep wondering is how hot the timing and AFRs were when he managed that power, they might have been a little too close for comfort.

In any case, the car ran fine at those power levels on that tune for quite some time before he had to sell it. Then again, it was also rebuilt right before that particular setup.

Update .....Yes i should have made 420hp at 18psi instead of 23psi. My compression is shit 125-110 range on all 6 cylinders. motor came out the car last night and the head is coming off to day. Its rebuild time.

With rebuild build, what are you planning to do? Just rings and bearings? ARP? Build the head?

If the funds are there, you can do it all now.

looking at Rings Bearings on the bottom end. Arps on the head bots and a new timing belt while im at it. I thought about doing cams now but i don't think i can quite afford it especially if i have to bore and do new pistons. Need to find a gasket set also
