I wasn't able to find a definitive answer on this. Just saying the inlet and outlet is different which isn't such a big deal. The mounting pegs on the bottom not lining up isn't such a big deal either since i have the ability to modify just about anything.

However, does anyone know if the mk4 rad is too tall or wide? I sent an inquiry off to Mishimoto (as we are a distributor now) but just wanted to see if i could get an answer here first from anyone that's tried it.

Anyone?

MKIVs came stock with aluminum cores and plastic tanks. This is good for a substantial weight reduction, off the nose of the car no-less.
However, Aluminum doesn't have the thermal properties of the stock unit. For ease, price, and efficiency, I like the stock replacement. I'd rather take an 8lb weight hit than risk another BHG.

damn thats what i though. Maybe i'll get a 240sx rad or 350Z rad. Or maybe i'll have Mishimoto make an Mk3 rad. New thread time to generate interest. If Mishimoto made a good size aluminum radiator for the Mk3 for about $180, who would buy it?

Me!!!
Anyone else?

Well i bought a nissan rad(not installed yet), I thinks it's this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-96-NISSAN-240SX-S14-ALUMINUM-RADIATOR-SR20DET-97-98_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33602QQihZ017QQitemZ270180366658QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

it's about stock mk3 rad size, slightly thicker
The upper water connection is 10cm more to the side of the rad so you need a longer upper hose/chrome home depot pipe(or whatever, i'm from the Netherlands:) )
You must make new upper mounts, just use some aluminum plate and some rubber and it will look cool
lower mounts also maybe
lower water connection may fit
oh and it's cheezy china stuff so it's not as shiny as a koyo:)

I was thinking of going 240 radiator from Mishimoto. But I need a large radiator so if the thing is only slightly bigger than the MK3 then there's no point. So I've seen Mishimoto's rads in person and they're very good. Since we are going to be a big distributor of theirs and they like us :D I've mailed them about making MK3 radiators and they would sell for around $180, not more. So if they deny the MK3 rad, then i'm stuck, i won't use a 240's
