I found this on a website, pics are from an unknown (to me) Japanese magizine. Personally im not a fan of the whole Lex SC Roadster trick. Id buy the hardtop. :icon_bigg

It looks to CG obviously, but idk if its a Toyota image used to gauge public opinion or just something made up by some loser with way to much time... Either way i dont think it is too bad looking for today's market.

What do you think?

In the top pic, the word next to "New" IS "Supra" in katakana [the Japanese symbols that are usually used for foreign words, OR sometimes used to be different and get attention].
From what I can read in the bottom pic, Basic Coupe Model with a V-6 is 300 10,000 yen [their numbering system is different - the number next to 300 is "mahn" which means 10,000]. That's 300x10,000 or 3 million yen - about 26,000 dollars at the current yen rate.

Keep in mind that just because they release it in Japan doesn't mean it will be sold here.
Also keep in mind that if it IS released here, it's probably going to be badged a Lexus, will probably NOT be as mod friendly as the 2JZ, and might not hold it's value like the MkIVs seem to do.

It's looking like the 2GR-FSE and the 2UR-FSE
The GR as the V-6 and the UR as the V-8.
2GR is 3.5L making 318ps@6400 rpms and 280 ft-lb@4800 rpms
I couldn't find any info on the 2UR, but it's supposed to be a 5.0L and should put out over 400hp [says 430-450ps, which is a measurement VERY close to hp, on the page up there].

Some info from my buddy in Japan:

It's the new model Supra. What do you want to know about it? If you narrow down what kinda info you're looking for it makes it a bit easier for me.

Base Model comes in at 3million yen = $30-34thou cdn.
350 hp V6 found in the IS350 and GS350 (coming models or current I'm not sure)

Enthusiast Model comes in at 4million yen = $40-44thou cdn.
430-450 hp V8 found in the GS460 and the IS500 (again current model or coming I'm not sure)

Height 1.3m
Track 1.85m
Wheelbase 2.6m
Weight 1400kg

The convertible top will be based on the SC430 model's roof.

Do you know the guy who took these scans? He need to do a better job. I'm having trouble reading the engine specs. Any chance of getting a better scan? Also tell him to scan the whole page not just the pictures.
