Might be getting an R32

one of the guys I work with just bought an R32. It was regestered in Cali, but they had to " Detune the shit out of it" - coming from his mouth.

its a pretty neat car, we had my 89 supra and his 89 skyline sitting next to each other. it would have made for a fun picture

NO NOOBERS if it were a GTR would say RB26 DETT, RB25 DET is only RB25 no such thing as an RB25DETT, Buying that car would be like getting excited over an NA MK4 with a crappy turbo kit and a trd widebody, if ya buy it whaatever but its not a real skyline some noob bought the cheapest niissan skyline out there slapped some ghetto rims and steering wheel on it then a few GTR badges and a bumper, neglecting the other body components needed to make it look like a GTR,, furthermore the RB25 DET is a POS and nobody into Skylines will argue that, the RB25 is a good motor, in a silvia, in a skyline its a disgrace, and if hes in england its a sucker deal, I bet those pics were stolen and the car doesn't even have a seller.

skylines are so over rated, get a mkiv. if you still want a skyline, get a R32 they were the fastest and coolest looking of the GTRs.

Wills7M: I dissagree. It is totally a real Skyline. GT-Rs and and the RB26DETT are just modified from the normal production cars and engines. Its the way it has been ever since the 70s when the Skyline first showed up. First the coupe, then the performance verson.
Those rims are as far as I can tell Nismo. The size is better suited for an S13, but most people would not call that ghetto. Its like calling ligit TRD ghetto. And the steering wheel? That thing is so cool. It might be my fav part of the whole car! I know that no one will agree with me on that one. hahah

Well, I like it. Even if it is a GTS. It's still a turbo'd RWD. And Boso, if you want that steering wheel, I'll sell it to ya. Lol. I'm gonna call him on Monday and see if I can make a deal with him.

He is interested in the car, has knowledge about it and wants to learn more. Get a life man, there was a time when ALL of us didn't know everything about supras. Though you may know more than him, and me, theres no reason to FLAUNT your knowledge and put other people down.

People ask questions, tell stories, and ask for peoples answers and opinions.

This is exactly what they DO NOT want.

Everyone here is telling me that and you know what? I am still going for it if he takes the deal. I'm strong willed, although some may call it stubborn. I'm not easily influenced by other people. Someone will say they dont like it, I will be the first to say that I do. And I do like that car. To each their own. Thats something you dont believe in. Just because you believe in something means that everyone else has to? I think you said it best when you typed, "Thats the shit that pisses me off..." And instead of acting like you know me and putting me down, why dont you click the link in my sig and see what I'm doing to my car. I'm shooting for 550RWHP. Build ups take time and thats exactly what I'm doing. Taking my time. Doing it right the first time. The car can wait. I have a life to live and I will live it the way I please. I leave you with this, sir. Why did you buy your Supra? Because you knew "oh so much about it?" No, you bought it because you liked the body style and probably for the engine. I like the body style of that particular Skyline. I was looking for a turbo RWD car as a DD and it just so happens that I found a Skyline somewhat local to me that is turbo and RWD. So get off my dick.

Edit - And hells, I was thinkin of taking a road trip to Cali. So if I get it maybe I'll meet up with you if I end up doing a road trip in it. Let you drive it or whatever.

The idea that the R33 GTS-T sedan/coupe is the ugliest and worst of the Skylines is 100% opinion. Personally, I really like the R33 body style. I think it looks a lot better than the dated 80's R32 and the angry refrigerator R34.
Dcru: Just be sure this is a ligit deal. Don't get scammed. Then be sure you will actually be able to register it! Sell me that steering wheel and get some wheels that fit ( 18x9.5 +12 all around will be PERFECT, trust me ) and you will have yourself a kickass daily driver. Oh and don't forget to ditch the GT-R badge I think i see. That is not ligit.

Sometimes the ignorance of some people frustrate me.
Dcru, Just do what YOU want. Getting opinions & learning AND HAVING FUN are the reasons why these forums are available to us. And just to throw it out there, I think the car is beautiful. AWD? No. GTR? No. Unique? Hell yes. I am not the biggest fan of the rims...but there is no doubt in my mind that it can be saved. If it is legit and you thoroughly inspect this car...I would definately get it.
