mhg sealer

I bought a 2.2mm mls mhg from SIP racing. It did not come with any type of sealer on it. The guy from SIP racing said it did not need any, but instead an RA value of 50 would be ok. I searched a little and couldn't find what this is and really whether or not I should use spray sealer. The only thread I found was on spray sealer. If someone could help me out here that would be good. Thanks!

You dont use a spray sealer on a new hg. Ra is roughness average - in short its how smooth the finish is. both block and head need to be machined and look like a mirror finish.

It looks smooth from the pics but it also looks like you have some pitting. As long as it perfectly flat with no ridges that you can feel with your fingers you should be god.
