Hehe... if I come in my Supra, it will be to poll for opinions on what I should do with it. I would post pics of the hail damage, but it doesn't really show up in pictures.

I was originally planning on making this meet the unveiling of my "newly unbusted" Supra -- I still haven't decided if I want to show up in my "still busted" Supra. ;)

What sucks is I've got $700 worth of hardware (not counting the engine parts) sitting in my closet, waiting to go on the car... Brembo (OEM) rotors, BIC divorced-wastegate downpipe, bearings, etc... now I'm like "man, do I really want to put that stuff on there now?"

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear about your damaged supra. If you decide not to install them PM me if you need the cash. Also what is damaged on your car. I know where several complete mk3 donor cars are local I could probably help you acquire what you need to fix it.

Well...If you've started off with a "poopy" looking car...then work with what you got for the time being. Take me for example...
My car looks like crap...but does that hold me back from building the motor?

Hellllllll noo. :) That just makes it that much more of a sleeper, hehe.
But don't get me wrong, when the oppourtunity is there, I will make her beautiful some day. :)

87CandyBlueT: I'll probably install the rotors and wheel bearings... I can't really drive it anywhere until I replace one of the wheel bearings, and the brakes are something I might as well replace while I have it that far apart.

I actually got a pretty decent deal on the rotors from MDCMotorsports... all four were like $230 shipped. That's still less than I would pay for Bendix rotors locally -- and Brembo > Bendix. :)

As for what's damaged: you can see the cardomain in my sig to see what was damaged before it got hit by the hail. The hail left dozens of dents in my hood, targa top, the roof behind the targa, and even a couple on the rear quarter-panels. Are any of your donor cars black?

Jspec: I'm all about the sleeper. :) This Supra is just sort of reaching a threshold for me.

Clueless: I still haven't decided whether I want to sell it. It has lots of body damage, but a pretty nice interior -- and has had a fair amount of mechanical work done to it. You can see it in the cardomain in my sig. If I decide to sell, I'll let you know, man. My main concern is that I'd rather not sell it to someone who will part it out -- I'd like to see it remain intact.

EDIT: er, forgot to tell it to display my sig, heh. Cardomain page: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/804762

 I need your seats! lol Let me know if you decide part with them.

Hehe... ok, will do.

You should know, though, that the leather that Toyota upholstered those seats with actually is very busted... which is why it's now decomposing in a landfill somewhere. The previous owner had them reuphostered in vinyl.

You know, I've never actually seen a whole shadow-grey interior, or a picture of one. The only ones I've seen have been modified, like Ron Ramirez's car.
