i have no hate for 1j's. i just intend on sticking with the 7M because i'm out to prove that it's poor maintenance and whatnot that causes them to fail. if everyone just took care of them, they wouldnt die.

just wait til the 1j tyteness is at it's pinnacle, and everyone and their mom starts doing it. then we'll start to see the 1j's failing, and people will start to blame toyota as a whole, not just the 7M.

MAINTENANCE is key, as is tuning.

in general, the people that have the same attitude towards not neglecting their engines swap in a 1J. its just a fact of life the turbo MKIII can be bought for so cheap its no surprise theres alot of inexperience and people breaking them. i dont know many of those kinds of people with the skill or money to swap a 1J or have a nice 7M setup.

I have no dislike for the 1JZ at all. I'm actually more interested in them now than I ever have been. Being here on Okinawa has given me a little bit of exposure to them and they sound great. The car I most usually see them in is the Chaser and they're often modified.

I just thought I'd vote for Duane because of his own and his Supra's proven prowess.

i still say u settle this from a 65mph roll, where the supras were meant to race. or how about a standing mile? thats the preferred method of grudge matches in the bay.

Duanes down here in Portland chillin with us.. His car only broke a few times.. But we are both still on for Saturday!
