Couldn't find anything using the search. I'm wondering if there's any actual negative effect on the car if I remove the electrical connector for the low brake fluid warning on the master cylinder.

Yes, it's also a safety feature that tells you if you're low on brake fluid. Can't think of anything worse than having no brakes...
