Couldn't find anything using the search. I'm wondering if there's any actual negative effect on the car if I remove the electrical connector for the low brake fluid warning on the master cylinder.

If you remove or unplug the sensor the light will not illuminate. Unless you pull the e brake.
No other ill effects, thats its only purpose.

Bzzzz wrong. It's a safety device. If it detects low brake fluid it disables the cruise control.

Cruise control wasn't working in my car so I removed the in-engine-bay stuff. So no negative effects?

Yes, it's also a safety feature that tells you if you're low on brake fluid. Can't think of anything worse than having no brakes...

I'm already sure about the counter argument many here will think about, but I already check all the fluids twice a week. Still, I'm sure many will say, "what if you nick a line in between one of those check ups and end up in a really bad car crash because you didn't have the safety feature?".

So I'll leave it at that.
