^ I disagree. It's not a I6, but nothing looks impossible.

It's not a Ford. :icon_bigg

Oil filter is 10000x easier to get to (in the open, under the car... not wedged between a turbo/manifold/PS pump/PS rack/PS lines/IC pipe/subframe). :icon_bigg

I don't know what your talking about man most fords are easy to work on ,well except my bosses ford taurus sho that damn v8 is shoehorned in but most mustangs (foxs,sn-95,new-edges and the new body style)are really easy to work on lol

It took me 2 minutes to change my oil filter.

EDIT: And the oil filter being easier to get to, isn't a good enough reason to make me want to go out and buy a boxer.

Sorry man

I think they are a whole lot easier on N/As though...

He never said anything about turbo or non-turbo's. And as a fact, go back and re-read his post. He didn't even say ANYTHING about the 7m. He was saying the boxer engine is easier to work on than the Inline 6.

So now I have to have a turbo to be inline 6?

I'm 15, and have NO problems getting to ANYTHING on my Supra. Nothing a standard metric socket set, and other tools can't get to.

I was refering to the above comment, where he is almost clearly talking about a 7MGTE. I see where you're coming from, but I was just pointing out that it is a bit tougher on a GTE. Not to say it is all that hard, but you have to play around a little more to get it out. But your only 15, either way i'm sure it helps having small hands. ;)
And I didn't mean anything offensive, and am well aware of your mechanical abilities.

The NA supra is a very easy car to work on esp for beginning DIYers. Never worked on a subaru. The only complaint i have on the supra is changing the plugs. Way to much work just to get to the 2 middle spark plugs! IMO the 7mge was easier to do general stuff to than the small block chev in my camaro. The back 4 spark plugs are nearly impossible to get to, and everything you change has something else or more attached to it. You have to take the motor half apart to change a cam. Including dropping the oil pan. And thats supposed to be a very simple engine! The supra engine bay is pretty straight forward. Unless your pulling the head off and changing the timing belt. That part sucks.
