I'm a new mk3 owner and need new exhaust piping and a muffler as its all starting to fall apart. So I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in using a cat back exaust system from a company called m2 preformance and are they any good as the whole system is about 200 dollars shipped

One small muffler and cheap at that. It's probably not going to fit well, be loud as hell, and made of low grade stainless that will rust...

Get a bigger budget :D

Raptor Racing makes a great exhaust, but it's pricy (worth it). There's also tons of name-brand exhausts out there.

If I had a bigger budget I would but I have very little cash right now as I paid for my schooling that's why that m2 preformance thing caught my attention after doing a little more research on them it seems they have been making RX-7 and WRX parts for a while

If the picture is right you will have to modify it to fit. It has v-band flange.

Also it looks like it has almost no muffler to it at all so it will be very loud.

Since you're NA, you want to go for the quieter exhausts. NA's are simply louder than turbos since the turbo itself acts as a muffler.

The pacesetter monza is descent for the price, available from Summit.

I have heard a local Supra with the pacesetter header and catback combo, sounded like complete ass. It was NA.

I ran the old school 2.75" dia HKS exhaust on my 86.5 NA and my 87 when it still had the 6 banger in it, absolutly loved the ehxaust note, it was toned nicely and looked great!
