He got tired of rebuilding it. lol
He had a pretty badass set-up with the KA-T but it was just something that he was looking into for a while. When he lifted the head on the KA he said fuck it and bought a LS1.

BTW its not stock anymore like the video says. Its got 5.3 truck heads. Ported and such with LS valve's. And I believe its a Magic stick 3 cam, but don't quote me on it. With a 150shot. He put down 432rwhp off the bottle. The botton end is stock though.

I was just kidding. But yeah, that's a common setup from Texas Speed. The 5.3L heads have a smaller combustion chamber for a higher CR. Then they port and machine the head so they can recess the valves so that the huge MS3 cam can fit without PTV problems. It's a budget setup, and quite frankly he would be better off with a better set of heads and a milder cam. He'd probably make more power and have better manners. It would've cost him maybe a grand more or so.

There are a couple of 6l truck motors on ebay right now, complete for ~2500, with harness, accessories and ecm.
You can also get a 4l60e from the same seller for ~500.

Hinson supercars sells the swap kit, LMK how it goes, I really want to do this.

I really wanna do this now too! i like how he kept the angled burn tip.....fart pipe if you will (i dont really wanna call it that but i cant think of anything else) the sound that comes from it makes me lawl.

badass car tho. looks badass on the slicks and skinnys too.

The problem with the LM7's and LQ9's and even the Corvette LS1 is that the truck accessories won't fit in the 240. You will need to buy Camaro/Firebird accessories. And after you buy all that shit you might as well of bought a Camaro LS1, accessories, T56, ecm, and harness.
4L60's with a stall are decently strong but it's still a gay auto tranny. Yes I know they are faster but still its gay. So why not just bolt a T56 up to the LQ9/LM7?
T56's arn't all that expensive. You can find them for around 800 on LS1tech...
