i actually sold my r154 to get my red mk2 like 4 months ago... yea im gana call around to local junk yards. ill find one sooner or later. i got too build the motor and do some more fabrication anyway so its not like i dont have anything to do.
made some progress today, i pulled the dash and dash support bar and got too all the extra crap i can toss. all the a/c stuff is gone and all the little control boxes are out ( i got to figure out witch ones if any i need to keep) and i cut out some sheet metal blanks to fill in the holes in the firewall left by the a/c lines and heater core crap.

haha! you have noo idea lol once my everything is put together the plan is to only see a few inches of each injector wire, barley noticeable crank sensor wire, coil pack wiring, and the tps wiring. its gana be sooooo clean. almost all the stock wiring is gone lol
not a whole lot of progress but here some pics,
i got the un used holes in the fire wall plugged,
can you believe these scissors actually worked better than my tin snips!? i used these to cut out all the blanks!
of corse i got an annoying ass cut on my finger. duct tape and go. lol

all the ac and crap removed,
theres a ton of room in there now!
got the car moved into the un finished paint booth to get it out of the way so i can work on customer cars.
got all the holes plugged
the welds look like shit.. all i got right now is flux cored wire and no gas so it is what it is. thats what the grinder is for.. lol

well i got to work on the car for a wile today and decided if i really want i super clean car i really should just do it right... ill let the pics do the talking,
soo yep i decided to do a "frame off" if you wana call it that. and of corse just like most mk3's my front lower control arm bolts are rusted to the bushings so they have to be cut out.. such a pain in the ass. i had to do the same on the rears. but hopefully ill have it all cleaned up, painted, and ready to go back in sometime next week
