It should look like a hex or two flats sides.

yeah the smooth part of the strut should have a flat surface to put an open end wrench. Are you changing the struts as weLL>>>??? OR just the springs?

You can also wait till you have the parts back it the car and the pressure should allow you to tighten it without a problem iirc.

Ok.. I finshed the fronts 30 min ago.. lets just say.. shit happened. Hope i can finsh the rear fast.

Rears are very easy. You may have to remove the panles inside to get to the bolts.or maybe not if u don't have tems.
Break the bolts on the shocks before you take them off the car.

So it only took like 6 hours. Not bad for a first time. Rear is easier imo.

Ok im having trouble taking the shock off. Do I only need to take the bolt holding the shock? Or do i need to take off more?
