I would actually prefer that it's moved back possibly a few weeks.
I've got SO much going on right now...

And Also, October 6th, I'm busy all day that day, too, so somewhere's around that time frame would be fine. I would like to dyno, but I don't want to until I get an AFC (that Chris is selling me, still, i hope).

My car is getting dog slow in 1st & 2nd gear. I can't figure out what it is.
It gets UNGODLY rich. Now, I know this is when everyone says, "boost leak"....No. That's not the case. If I kick down in 3rd gear, say, 50-60mph, it pulls ungodly hard. I don't know if my fuel system is just going nuts and I seriously NEED a good tuning or what...but all I know is that it feels so underpowered when I do 1st/2nd gear pulls. A noticable difference.

What do you guys think?

Well If it needs to be moved back Then Oct 14th & 15th is my next available weekend that I can put together. If that don't work then Oct 28th & 29th is the last option. I agree with you 1000% Dave. If you & the other guys wont have the Supras ready then whats the point. Work out something with any of the above dates & lets set it up.

ok that sounds good. i wanted to ask before it got any closer in case someone needed to change plans. hope this doesnt cause any issues, just wanted to make every opportunity for people to attend.
i'll call tony @ the dyno tomorrow to see which of these weekends are best for him. believe me, im real anxious to have a meet!

Oct 14, and 15 if possible or Vonda and I will have to bail. The 28 and 29 we have family plans. It's going to be hard to work around everyones schedule. I haven't let myself go racing at the track for four weeks cause I didn't want to risk tearing something up. Now I have to wait another month.............:3d_frown:
It sucks not being able to race for fear of tearing your car up, but I guess that's what happens when you own a supra. In all fairness to my car, it's not the motor that I'm worried about. I hear a bark in my tranny when I take off in first. It kind of sounds like barking the tires. I don't know what it is, but I don't think launching at five thousand rpm can be good for it...................lol

My wife was pretty pissed when I told her about the meet, she was like...hello...its your daughters 1st bday!! lol 1st bday at a dyno, what more could you ask for lol

I should deff have the mkIII going by then so I wont be the only mkII like I have been for the past like... infinity years That'll be fun.

well 14th is no good. i just talked to tony and he will be out of town.
he said the 28th will be ok, but he has somewhere to be at 4pm so it would have to get started pretty early.

so. if we want to go out there looks like either keep the 23 sept or early 28 oct. or, we could go to another dyno shop and have our cookout at another location. thoughts?

Well we know Sept. 23rd wont work. Lets see if we can get a dyno locked in for the 14th or 15th of Oct. If we can't get a dyno would that be a meet killer? I think rolling down the expressway 20+ deep, hanging out & having a group dinner would be kill. Really looking forward to it.

yeah i know. 42 days instead of 21 days. thats like twice as long of a wait!
