The SDL will work with most ECU's that have CAN comms

What's your budget for the boss/wheel? Nothing wrong with Grant if you like that style or feel, but for less than $120 you can get a nice Nardi or MOMO with boss.

No...it's just to complete a look one is going for.

Drifting wheels have a band at the top for quick refrence..

The point is to find something you're comfortable with, fits your hands perfectly, excellent grip, very solid, and has the right depth so you're not reaching or too close. You also can't forget the style aspect.

I have a stock 89, stock 90+ and a JDM TTR in my cars, and my favorite believe it or not is the 90+ airbag wheel..

not for it's style (it's hideous), but it's just so damn comfortable, and that's what's important to me..!

It's a bolt on.

I never figured out the cruise though. I think it would work with 89+ supras.

likely not, probably 90+ airbag wheels though, those are wired with the exact same cruise control stalks...
