I hear that. I got lucky since I'm only about 30min from it. I ended up being the only Supra there and some ricer honda civic won best import. I don't mind not winning since my car is no where near show quality, but there were plenty of other nicer imports there that should have won. Plenty of nice, classic domestics too and a VIP-style 300C won best domestic, wtf?
Anyway, car is getting parked at the end of October (may have it in the Rochester Hills area the last week of October/first week of November before it gets parked) and the next time it emerges in the spring (hopefully that early) it'll have a 1UZ in it. :evil2:
So if anyone needs a 7M-GTE I'll have one for sale soon (harness and accessories will be kept until after the swap, but it can be seen/heard running now while in the car) as well as another 7M-GTE clean block, nearly full head (some parts were disassembled and put in a small toolbox), valve covers, alternator, LIM and UIM, ct26 core and misc. brackets.
