Lets play whats wrong with this supra game

Hey dudes well I got my car running again after replacing the hydro pump and coils and my car is still missing up top on acceleration... here is a video of what’s going on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyxqoDr_1xc

My mods are the following
1jz stock block and head
T-66 turbo
50mm wastegate
mkiv 440's
stock map
stock ecu
and ngk 6097 gaped at 30

Anybody want to give a guess on whats going on?
Oh yeah the car is way rich when taking off...

nothing as of right now since im only running 7lbs of boost...

I'm 80% your AFRs are rich out the ass causing the car to run like that.

Ask me how I know.


Also, try bringing your plug gap down to .26 or .28

tune your car its too much fuel or put the stock 370 cc injectors back in that will fix your problem.

Damn bring that gap down. I'm running a .28 gap on stock twins. You should also get an AFC or something to tune with, you are running the maps meant for 370cc injectors with 440cc injectors, meaning way too much fuel.

Okay guys found the problem hehe ....



Timing was way off! haha 40 degrees retarded! my fault to when I did my timing belt I failed to put the motor back to TDC when I put her back together... sooo yeah for people that have this kind of problem in the future check timing!
