im thinking of getting a front set.. theres a group buy going on over at SF... i might have to jump on it..
pics someone! pics! im thinking of getting leather seats too, my grandma has an embroidery machine and i want to get "Supra turbo" on the headrest, and maybe the turbine symbol on the seat.
What do they come with as far as stuff other than just the seats (mainly the 2 pieces that are mounted to the rear side panels that are part of the back "seat").

How did you guys find fitment of these seats? I just started on the rears and the fitment is terrible. Look at how much shorter the tops of the rear seats are compared to stock. It's completely squashing the headrest bulges and is causing the seatframe to buldge out. What a crock.
I'm calling them tomorrow. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else? The group buy was huge on SF. Several dozen sold.
i was in the group buy too. its really sad but i have yet to install them. car has been down for other reasons and the leather has not been a high priority.
anyway your pictures scared me so i pulled out the leather and compared it to stock. the leatherseats and my stock leather look the same but both look different from your stock cloth seat. if i remember correctly, when we ordered, they asked if we had stock leather or cloth, i guess this is the reason. im guessing you got the backs meant for the stock leather by accident.

I doubt that is the issue screaminglemon, I think it might make a difference on the front seats, but on the rear seats the padding and frame is the same for leather or non-leather and the same for all years.
yeah, after looking at the pictures more closely, i can see the leather tekdeus has is different from the ones that was sent to me. tekdeus' is missing the long vertical stitch that goes alongside the red.
seems now like either a manufacturing mistake or they used the wrong pattern for his seat. probably a mistake as the pattern they used for mine seem to be correct.

I tried some of the other peices, and the fit is much better. It seems that just these rear seat backs are wrong.

well that sucks.. i was looking into that group buy as well.. ill have to wait and see how many peoples actually turns out perfect!
