does the bride seat sit higher than stock?

lowest setting vs lowest setting, the bride seat does sit about .5" - 1" higher. its not that big of a deal for me, but in the future i'm just going to cut and reposition the seat.

not much updates, been busy with my cs rc car haha
ive been missing my sc300, so i made this to satisfy my feelings.

anyway, about my 1:1 car, i finished all the wiring for under my seat, with the exception of my speaker wires.

then these were finally made: a70 supra solid subframe riser bushings!

installation would have been easy if my subframe wasnt powdercoated, i had to sand the holes and lube it to push in the bushings. it was still snug so i didnt use epoxy. for a regular finished subframe, just epoxy it, and slide it in!

i got everything back together and test drove the car, boy does the solid rear end make a worlds difference, i didnt attach my rear sway bar back on yet, but i was able to get loose petty easily. i still need to adjust my ride height, put back on the rear sway bar, get an alignment, and fix my s2 fenders to accommodate the suspension geometry change.

oh sweet!! so those guys are really into the whole MK3 scene huh??? I'm wondering for my purposes (track car) if I should go solid in the rear to accompany my poly front subframe bushings. Do they make the ride extra harsh? I do still want to be able to street/daily the car.

they actually arent. they make pats for the drifting application, but they mainly work on s-chassis cars. or i should say more common drift cars, such as s13, s14, s15, r32, r33, fc3s, genesis, z33... but since im a local and a friend, im just working with them to make parts for our cars since no real companies make drift application parts for our cars.

these solid subframe risers would certainly help, but the amount of cabin noise is greatly increased since everything is solid, there's no more rubber insulators to soften the sound.

Realy interested in the progress of this as mine is similar. Was wondering how far do you wheels pop from the rear guards as they should be out further than my 18x12 0 offset wheels but yours seem to be on futher or the same I wonder if it's the difference between shines widebody and s2's or the way I mounted it or just perspective/camber cause you are clearly alot lower than mine.

That subframe looks amazing!

my rear wheels stick out about 20mm further out than yours, with the subframe rising, add another 10m or so. so roughly 30mm more aggressive than yours. im not sure how shine based the mold off my s2 fenders, but i assume they are the same. one thing i can tell you is that i did bow out my fenders so maybe thats why, and the fact that i am lower does contribute to how they fit. my camber is about -1.5 degrees.

holy fucking shit.

is that how low the powered by max coilovers drop the a70? or did you do something to lower it further?
That's how low they go!

There is subframe bushings too. They drop it a tad.
The subframe bushings don't drop it further, the whole point of the subframe riser bushings is to raise the subframe for suspension for some geometry correction.
