Damn that could've came through the window and killed the passenger, damn that bird was smashed, poor car though......
The last part confused me. He is lucky it didn't come through the windshield...that would have hurt
I had a squadron mate hit a turkey vulture on a low level in an F-16 doing 500+ knots. It came through the canopy and hit him in the shoulder...he lost control of the aircraft and ejected. He was off flying status for months...had to have two surgeries. He was very lucky it didn't kill him.
