God damn this engine runs great.
Figured out a couple things today,
headlights both work now? Plugged in the battery and they both worked.
Tail lights still a no go, but looks to be due from a bad lamp failure box, it's all corroded to shit.
Gauges still don't work, not sure why. No RPM's. The rest of them don't really work anyways. Except fuel, that's working.
Leaking a little bit of coolant from the rear 90 degree hose I think, and some from my water temp sensor for my prosports.
Car is pulling a nice 10psi of oil pressure at idle.
Good 20 vacuum.
I'll take some pictures of how dirty it is. and the painted hatch and chrome 5 spokes.

Yep Kyle, that was weird.
Get that dash back together, and another lamp failure relay, we'll spend some time tracing any other issues.

Check the M1 connector under the dash near the ecu. That has all the signals for your dash ..maybe it's not plugged in??

M1 is plugged in, and the wires at the plugs look good. The wires at the ignitor also look good. But, he has most of the dash pulled, and I'd prefer to trace stuff, with a semi-complete dash in front of me
When I got there, all I could see was wire, and dash brace, column without a wheel,etc. Kyle really had that car apart. Had the DVM with me, but forgot the long leads to check continuity from Ignitor -> M1. Brains isn'tup to speed today, beer on Sunday sometimes does that :biglaugh:buckshotglass

Shawn-Got most of the stuff back together, gauge lights still aren't lighting up either. I'll work on getting the rest of the stuff together over the next couple days and get a lamp failure box then bring it over. Need to adjust the clutch too, pulled it into the garage and killed it once. haha.
James-I have some prosports that i have in a pillar pod. Water temp, oil pressure, and boost. The essentials
Gauge lights, tail lights, and a few gauges ..... I'll scour the Electrical books again later. Shouldn't be too terrible to find .....

Oh, and in response to your question either earlier today or yesterday, BOV closer to the throttle body, IIRC it's for less chance of compressor surge.

good job cleaning that hatch man, you ARE going to make a tie down for the battery right. Good luck w/ the wiring, i'm not the biggest fan of wiring and chasing grounds.
