Well.
the guy I bought the motor from put on allen wrench bolts for the cam covers, and some of them were already stripped, and I stripped a couple trying to get them off. Only managed to get one out before I gave up.
Took the oil pan off and there was oil in there?
he said it hadn't been run yet.

So is this gonna be ready for the meet?

Duane
Yes, it will be.
With all the mods I hoped? No.
What will probably end up happening is paint, and I'll throw the motor in with stock injectors and AFM for now I think and then buy the MAFT pro after the meet or something.

That sounds like a good plan I wish I had done that myself after my rebuild.

Well, got all the cam cover bolts out with a tap screwdriver and a torque bit.
ARP rod BOLTS unforunately.
Oh well.
Should be okay.

Paid off my parents for the rest of the money I borrowed getting the engine up here.
Still need to buy sideskirts and swap some parts with Yarden (CALL ME! Bumpers...)
At this rate I think I'm going to be borrowing more money from my parents to get this thing done in time.
Still need to get carpet
and some belts for the motor and some more hoses. Tony still owes me a clutch line, I need to buy a new ground kit and a battery box.
Ugh!
Donate to me!

Going in a different direction for now.
I've decided that I want to get this done.
I'm going to do the body work and primer the car with a couple buddies of mine and just have it primered till I can get the money for a good paint job.
This will allow me to get all the other little things done that need to be done.
Hoses, belts, swap oil pans from old engine to new (the new one was a little scrapped and might be dented a little bit, don't want to take chances with anything), oil, filter coolant balh blah, grounding kit like I said, battery box.
Just basic stuff to get it running right. throw in a new carpet. Maybe spray some of the interior pieces with some dye.
Get the engine in. Drive it to my buddy's house to do body work and primer it. And weld my sweeeeeeeeeeeeet ass new greddy muffler on. :)
I'm very excited. Anyone else?

Holy
shit
I actually worked on supra stuff today.
Amazing
I decided to paint my interior parts black.
So I did that for the most part today.
Got the passenger fender and mud flap back on, clean a little bit out of the car, got some my parts and oil from toyota but I'm missing a couple clamps.
Put my fan belt on, fan clutch and fan. Messed around a little bit with the oil filter relocation thing.
Anyone have any ideas on where to relocate it to?

Well
Since it looks like everyone is just lurking around waiting for pictures or something, I guessssssss I'll give you some.
I've been painting my interior parts black. Some are turning out better than others. I'm not satisfied with a couple of them, mainly my dash, but I needed to get it in. I got the dash, gauge cluster and a couple other small heater system stuff in.
And I received two things two, my carpet and my prosport gauges I ordered!
I wasn't happy with the carpet at all. It was molded fairly well, but nothing was cut, so I had to cut a lot of it and it didn't turn out so nice.
Gauges look great, but I'm lost as to how to wire them.
And I got some stuff sealed up on my engine.
However, 3 of my fucking thread holes in the block are stripped or something. Put the oil pan on and get to 3 of the holes on the exhaust side and the bolts are going in all sideways and shit.
Ugh.
Oh and I had cut off my exhaust right in front of the dent in the back so I can get some new piping and get the greddy muffler welded on there
