just back from the drag race and can i say it was quit disappointed with the turn out there was two supras dad and me about the time to go a lady that isn't even with the forum that i had passed on the info of the meet decide she love to some supra other then her own so she stop by to see nothing but the same couple she see at the house. i will not be going to the dyno tomorrow next time we plan a meet lets make sure there are people interested in both parts and not just wasting peoples time thanks to StarScream for comeing to even if he was in a truck not a supra at least he showed

you arent coming to the dyno just because attendance was low at the drags?
i had planned on coming, but my car wasnt together yet.
i knew most of the people had planned just to come on saturday. but thought the attendance would be higher at the drags.

no that isn't the only reason i just figured if people didn't come to the drag strip that will not end up going to the dyno nothing agist any one just didn't understand why every one back out and didn't really tell any one, a few people said i can't make it but if you look throught the pages there should have been more people there. i wish you all the best of luck on tomorrow and hope you got 30 cars there
As I remember it, there were about 36 signed up to show up at the dyno last year. It was cold and I think we had about 23 show.
Don't forget it's Friday and people are much more likely to show for a full day, weekend event with good weather and a cookout.

I know what you mean, I posted a few days ago on page 28 about the head count for the drags from Louisville & got NO response. With that I concluded that it was going to be a wash. However there are 35+ listed to show up on Sat. at the Dyno.
yeah the way I took it there would be hardly anyone at the strip but more at the Dyno. I also didnt plan on many making the drags since it was Friday night and all. I think tomorrow will not dissappoint. Hope you change your mind Mike. Its going to be a nice day. The theme is set.
For some of us it is hard to make it out both days Friday is my day off and my day to spend with my son so the track was out for me. I will be there for the dyno and to dyno. I am driving straight to the Dyno tomorrow.

Sorry if the turnout was bad, I got a few emails from guys saying that they were actually running. As far as the people who showed, I admit I had a good time, I thought there would be less people but not that much less.
Mike - I made a last minute decision to back out driving Friday afternoon just because of the simple fact that, EVERYONE I spoke with either showed 98% interest in only the dyno, or planned from the beginning to ONLY go to the dyno. I do not think that Saturday's Dyno day is going to be a disappointment.
I can tell you for sure one thing, is that I have not got sleep yet...
I'm waiting for Nathan (suprafanatic) and his friend to get here in a few hours...they are going to crash here, then a few hours later, head 40 minutes south to meet up with Matt (mkiiSupraMan18) and Jason (rumptis) and Jon (MDCmotorsports)....So, you can guaranttee that head count right there...amungst many others.

Damn, I just ran into a stroke of bad luck...
Despite getting my engine put back in the Supra today, I just hit a mother-fucking deer in my uncle's car. Damage is really only cosmetic, thankfully.
Sometimes I wish I could just kill every deer I see... I think it's time I pickup a new hobby...

its nearly 3am, just now coming in from the garage. good news is everything is together! let it warm up, and no leaks (knock on wood). i tried to burp it but it didnt do a whole lot. dont know if it didnt have any air in it, or it didnt burp good. couldnt do much this late at night. the neighbors hate me as it is. heading off to get some sleep, see you guys soon!

had about 25-30 people come, 15-17 cars, and 11 people dyno'd.
armyastro won high hp with his 1j single turbo sc300.
zurud and sturbo87 both made near 400rw on ct upgrades.
