Everyone get ready!
2 day meet is TODAY & TOMORROW!!!

Here's the deal;

We are very thankful to have put a Suprameet together for everyone, Please credit the people who have put in time from their life to make such a wonderful event possible for you and the SupraMania community.

---------------

RULES: There are very few rules, and everyone shouldn't have a problem following them, just basic common rules.

1. Keep the cursing to a minimum, there could possibly be children at the meet
2. Nothing extremely stupid ("Drifting" near people and cars, throwing stuff around the cars, doing burnouts (Good way to chip other's masterpieces and possibly hurt someone))
3. No drug abuse (Alcohol to an excess)
4. No touching other's cars, find the owner and ask to look at the car, don't welcome yourself to someone else's car.
5. No laughing at someones car, unless they intend it to be laughed at (Cardboard spoiler) Because it is very disrespectful

Following these rules will result in the best possible outcome for the meet.

I vote for Louisville or Southern IN area. Most central location & about 2hrs for folks driving in from Indy, Lexington, Evansville or Cinci. If you make it to far east (Frankfort or Lexingto.) That will add another 1.5-2hr drive for the Indy & cinci crew.

I'd like to have another KY meet in Louisville. If we're gonna get this rolling, it's be nice to know when.

Steve, I think you and Dave did a great job planning the last one. It'd be nice if you could round everyone up again for a good time. Of course that's your decision and i'm not going to push it anymore.

Just an idea, but I have a friend who is planning a "car show" of some sort or another to kick off Harvest Homecoming in New Albany (Sunday, Oct 7th - From 2 to 4pm), just before the balloon launch at 5 pm, weather permitting.

She's never organized anything like this and is looking for ideas, but I suggested a general format with voting/trophies for different classes (anybody who could throw some suggestions her way would be GREATLY appreciated - just lmk). Last year was a vette show with very few cars, but over 500 people in attendance, and she'd like to do something much more successful.

So would there be any interest in having a meet that weekend and bring a bunch of Supras to the show? I know it's short notice, and that if we had a Saturday dyno session/fun run/whatever, that a lot wouldn't be there for Sunday, but it sounded like it could be fun to bring out the Supras, so I wanted to throw it out there. Whatcha think?

I would have no problem putting together another meet & I'm sure Dave would say the same.

Kurt-
Sounds like fun but I'm not sure if we could get a good showing of 10+ A70's to be in the show. Our cars are becomming quite vintage. As for any local MK4"s I know of less then a hand full to even ask muchless if they would/could attend. I also doubt if Chris or myself will have the Supras done by then but I'm gonna try. That Sunday (10/7) would work great for me if she is done.
If I throw down a meet its gonna be a informal grassroots cook out at my place, Fun Run, discount Dyno & maybe drag racing. I won't go through the pains for sponership give aways. I'll leave that up to someone else if there willing.

Well...O'Reilly Raceway Park in the heart of the Indy 500 City, is just an hour and a half away from Louisville...Home of one of the nicest 1320 race tracks you'll ever visit.

Nice track indeed, I got to go to the NHRA nationals there last year. It's a bit far though for a KY meet... lol
