I changed mine to solid aluminium and i highly recomend it. The floating feeling is gone and as grimreaper said the responsiveness of the car when you turn quickly is 100% improved. The video posted discribes the problem well... and i dont se any point in having movement there, thats what the suspention is fore.

suspension is to keep tires in contact with the road and to absorb bumps......subframe bushings are to absorb twisting motions and shock to the body as well as reduce vibration that rattles the car. they have a purpose and solid aluminum is not a good idea!

Have you felt the difference? Keep the original if you want that floating out of controll feeling. Its up to you (there are no vibrations or terrible sounds). I build my car to be better and to have increased drivablity. The chassie can be stiffened further if you´re worried about twisting motions.

Does anyone make the actual bushings for the front and rear subframes? From the vendors I have only seen what appear to be the bushing "caps" or "spacers".

There is a group buy for poly ones going on here right now.

If you could entince me further I could give you a quote on price however misplaced that may seem...

All 6 bushings made the corect size which means the rear ones are thicker. They do not use washeres to make up the space. They are made from 6061 alumnium and the pres is $100.00 for a full set. They are avaible from my website http://www.beechperformance.com/html/products.html
