I plan to run polyurethane bushings but I'm still not 100% sure on if I should run spacers.Dose it sound like a good combo?or would the poly bushings just be enuff.I'm build my car for track racing so I am looking for a more responsive car.

I dd my with hopes of someday going around a track. I used poly bushings all around and nylon subframe spacers. I dont have anything to compare it to but it feels good IMO

i whould not worrie once you have the polly in solves most of the issues

there is still the upper spacer's if there not rusted to shit then you should be ok

at this point the bic will be your only good call since the spacer idea if done right will not work with polly since you need to strech the stock rubber for it to work right

i was from what i can remmber i am the frist person to do this long ago

Who the hell wants a spacer made out of nylon honstley? They wont last forever. Nylon is used for bushing's and things that need to be able to slide and move. Dose that not defeat the whole porpus of these bushing's?

with polly bushing in place not a stock rubber one

spacer are thicker cause you have to pull on the center race to tuch the body of the car the lower washer now will be sucked up pinching the sub frame this maken soild monte

no more float

he has polly witch has not much for movement bic sub frame bushing are factory replament but alot more solid then the stock flex bs

his spacers on stock rubber monte will be more of plush ride and take away so move ment not all thou but some

me my self i just use spacers cause i am not a sissy

Lets not bring porpoises into this, no need to talk about dolphins' cousins.

From my experience, hard Nylon will last forever and serves the purpose pretty well. Maybe not forever but I havn't lived that long yet. They give a tiny bit and might not be quite as harsh as metal spacers but still do the job WAY better than stock.

i just re did the tq on all of them and was quite surprised. Even ones that took a 3' breaker bar to loosen were in the 70-80 ft lb range. Feels like a sports car instead of a camry on the turns now, well worth the hour to check them all

good pointer poodles!

The difference is HUGE with the targa off when I did mine...

Personally I'd never run solid subframe mounts/spacers as then you're going to hear the suspension and especially the diff.

Poly is about as far as I would go, same with the rest of the bushings...

I just retorqued mine with 197k on the clock. They weren't that loose but definitely weren't at the proper torque. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet.

With mine it did not have anymore road or suspension noise than normal. I dono if other people got alot of noise tough.

noise, NO. The car feels a LOT tighter now. the body roll from quick turns of the wheel is 100% improved. Think camry turn in, body roll and steering turn in to a corvettes. Mine were looser then they should have been, results may differ....
