Just got in an accident - the irony of it all...

Latest news from Ed - 3 shocks were blown, and i hadnt noticed! He's replacing them, as well as two front tyres, seeing as the tracking was out and on the inside of the tyres, they're worn down to the metal banding!!! o_O

Bulb Failure Module is done though, so i got the cruise back. Fluid's are all changed, the wheel vibration i was feeling was a result of the tracking being out and one of the wheels having thrown a weight.

Also - a sticking brake caliper has been rectified, and all that was without asking!

I did ask him about the timing to 14' BTDC from the 12' it's at now, but he said to hold off for the moment, wait for the valve clearances to be done, drive it around for a while, see if i'm happy with it.

It's going to come back almost a completely new car i think - and front wings too, door fixed - the guy is a LEGEND. Definitely deserving of the nickname Jesus - both for looks, and his ability to work miracles!

The best part, is as a trained supra mechanic and breaker, he said mine is otherwise in good condition, and thats got me REALLY happy.

I'm excited! I WANT ME CAR! :D

Still not got it back - unfortunately, Ed noticed a major problem with the tracking - at high speeds, if you want to change direction, its all over the place and it's needing to be fix0red before i get it back :(

Still, when i get it back, time to take it for an MOT and then pay my £210 a year road tax :/

Hehe - yeah i can see how it might appear that way. Then again, theres a STACK of garage bills for this thing an inch deep until 2002 all from the toyota dealers. Either they were fitting the wrong bits, or the Supra's being picky about what parts it likes. Then again, there is damage from the aforementioned accidents, and two cunty chavs trying to steal it.

Oh and ed's now also doing the fan blower motor and interior lights. Anyone know where the integration relay is??
