Well I will be starting on the second go around very soon here.
Picking up my parts tomorrow and after I get a few more things in I can start again.

I have a strange feeling of déjà vu...
Checked the valves, they appear to be untouched and are in spec same for the oil pump as well. Took apart the pump, removed the gears and I couldn't find a trace of anything. Cleaned everything and used an air compressor to get rid of any possible remaining contaminants.
For fun I did rip apart my oil filters, needless to say there was plenty of crap inside them. So waiting on rings and bearings now. Be back on the road very soon I hope.

I was gonna stick with the wiseco rings, I'll have to see if Bert actually ordered bearings for me yet. What type are the ones you have?
