Jumped on the painting bandwagon

Are you going to wetsand and buff it with buffing compound? I believe it will look alot better after you do that. Remember to also remember that you need to take your time when doing this step, because this will ultimately affect how well your paint looks.

Yes I am going to wetsand the the car with 1000-1200 grit sandpaper then buff it out wanna come over and help me do this? :biglaugh:

Wow. Nice results for what it is! As far as the difference in the look of the previous paint, I believe it would be in the mineral spirits-to-paint ratio. Did you measure each (paint/mineral spirits)? Your mixture is probably off. Could be the moisture in the air due to the front that moved through the past couple of days. I wish I knew more about it to give you an answer.

Nope I just pour and little bit of this and a littlebit of that :nono: maybe thats my problem but i dunno what would be the "right way" to do this I just dont know.

also noone know about my bumper questions? too bad...

Not sure how it would handle flexing. You might be able to just use a standard flex agent in the mix but I'm not certain. You'd just have to try it and see.
