Sharp edges tend to cause turbulant flow not to mention are prone to fatigue and cracking so I always try and put nice radius's on parts I make where possible!

What Ron's pics don't show is just how smooth the port job is!

The Flash highlights any surface imperfections and makes them appear x10 I bet his are smooth as glass! (I noticed this taking pics of mine they look like they were done using a house brick in the porting tool but you can't "feel" them with a fingernail)

do those look too knife edged? thats my head currently. havent had the oversized valves installed yet. already have them, also valve guides were removed before porting and i have brand new bronze guides already installed. going wit hthe comp cam springs and ferrea titanium retainers. only things left to buy are the springs and cams. waiting on the group buy for new billiets. your head looks sweet though. i just hope mine flows like a mofo with all the work and money iver spent. lol.

sweet. dont wanna end up with cracks and ish. lot of hrs went into that head. done by a good friend of mine, did the 5m head for my n/a buildup im gonna use 3 40mm dcoe's on.

I take it that it will be nice and shiney when it goes back on.
Your car has always been the standard for a mkiii ron, I't great to see you taking it to a whole different level.

Oh! SnapP! I retract my previous statement. I saw the sandscratch on the tip of the volute, but that is some gorgeous honedge.

I have not paid my machinist yet so I don't know. But he did say ~20 min worth of machining :)
Since I sold my old Tilton clutch/jun flywheel setup, I had to get a new one. I waited a while for this due to low supply of Carbon fiber, but now it's here :) Thanks to HPF for a great deal!!
