And a torque plate will stretch the bore a little bit, the same way it will when you install the head, the plate applies that torque evenly like the head would, and lets you bore the block

A newer addition to this, is bore the block with the idler bolt torqued per the tsrm

I love the way everything is in a perfect place, looks so clean! Is that a 4" DP? That thing is massive! Can't wait to see it in that black engine bay :evil2:
