Very nice Josh!
I have the utmost respect for someone who takes their time to do a job right. That engine looks incredible! It's so clean...
BTW: How much did the machine work cost you for the head?

Sidenote: I wish I could move that fast!

yah i moved pretty damn quick, sorta on a time crunch due to having to go back to school next weekend. head costed me a total of 321.00 including tax.

they resurfaced, pressure tested the block, replaced valve seals(that price included new toyo valve seals), adjusted the valves, they also helicoiled the exhaust side. it was a complete rebuild.

Excellent. Quite reasonable, IMO.
Nice score on the tools, also. You're gonna need them

I was going to ask, but noticed in you're sig that you have ARP Head Bolts. Wise choice, sir. Wise choice.
Which HeadGasket are you installing?

Good choice, and how can you resist new toys when the car is down? It's rather easy to convince yourself that you need it when the old part is sitting there. Just keep saying "it's 17 years old. I should replace it..."

lol...

ooh, where'd you get the Golden Eagle vacuum manifold? any pics of it in use? I was looking at one on Ebay a while ago, and forgot about it.

cleans it up IMMENSELY plus makes it easy to find any vacuum leaks....obviously other things in the engine bay were changed as well but you get the point in the difference in vacuum line clutter.
