Well supra starting pooping out on me. Compression in cylinder 5 was at 60psi, and i was having some over heating problems. So im replacing the bottom end and getting the head rebuilt. For the most part the engine will be stock minus arp hardware , and mhg. So im gonna post pictures of tear down and putting the shit back together. To add to the fun on the way home from college i blew out a tire(woo back to sawblades) and had more overheating problems. Enjoy

Thats all thats been done so far. Tomorrow the old engine is coming out, and i will be picking up my new block. I also got a nice little video clip of my running open ddp if anyone is interested. Its 40mb, just gotta find someone to host it

Josh: Best tip I can give is "Baggies and a Marker" for all of the small nuts bolts screws!

ok a little update with pictures coming tonight. got home at 345am from marks(rakkasan) house with me new bottom engine. Today i got my engine out and both are bolted down to the engine stands. Got my new water pump in the mail yesterday(full mod list with be later).

Also some dumbness on my part. I was fixing a friends belt squeak with some belt dressing which helps for a little while and managed to slip and my finger got caught in the belt. Didnt loose my finger and didnt need stiches so I am happy. Pretty fucked up looking tho. Ill attach some pictures of that too.

LOL, Josh's finger & my toe were both ate up like hogans goat. Pretty sad sight to see.

ok a update on my progess. old engine is out and head is off. head being sent to be rebuilt tomorrow by the machine shop. new toys will be coming in in the next couple days. i spent the day cleaning shit, gotta run and get more cleaner tomorrow. ill take pictures of the cleaned items tomorrow. enjoy

well just a quick update.

Old block is completely stripped down, and the head has been sent off to the machine shop. its being completely rebuilt including a 3angle valve job. Ill have pictures of everything tomorrow. Meanwhile ive been cleaning parts like crazy.

What are you using to clean the parts. I started using simple green but it gives me a headache after 10minutes... Looks like you're having fun!

ive been using a bunch of different things. brake cleaner, carb cleaner, engine degresser, using steel wool and different sand papers to scrub it off as well as a wire brush. its taking a loonnngg time. i hope to have pictures up tomorrow somtime.

well got the head back from the machine shop. they did a complete rebuild including:resurface,3 angle valve job, new valve stems,adjusted valves,pressure tested and cleaned it off course.

the only hold up is the headgasket which i will have by monday. until then more cleaning wooo
