I think you should have probably just left the coupler on there, I'm sure it would've been fine.

Haha, the car feels soo much better now...I think I may turn up the boost slightly in a little while...but 10psi is good for now.



And here is a pic of the boost controller...the vacuum lines go to the compressor housing and wastegate actuator.

And I also wrapped my downpipe with fiberglass header wrap:

Here are some pics of the VDO boost gauge I installed last night...It looks a little hacked though ...I think I'm gonna find another center console at the junkyard and try again...but anyway, here are some pics!

Hint: Try a holesaw bit in your drill , Or next time use a heat gun to soften the plastic.

I don't think the holesaw would work there. There was no middle to begin with... unless you leave in the lighter, and drill it too!

but that plastic did look brittle.
