We've lived here for almost 2 years, and the manhole covers have ALWAYS been that high.....and ours are probably closer to 5 inches up, than 2 or 3. It's worse than hitting a speed bump/table, even just going around them and catching the edge of the bump. My Ion Redline is lower than Jeff's Supra.....I've pissed off neighbors by driving in their yards to avoid the covers.
It's been a problem before, I've been told by other neighbors...........
