at least you have one of those drifter exhausts that stick out.

they arent going to do anything. i would think it would be cheaper just to replace the exhaust rather than sue them for it but i guess you never know unless its happened before.. and im pretty sure it has at some point and his suspension mods are definitally something to consider ;p

Shows how much you know, this isn't about "sueing".

The city usually does pay for repairs...

Yup, and I know a few people who have already been reimbursed for poor road conditions.

I noticed today, too, that they apparently went around and "patched" the pot holes again. It's getting ridiculous - you can drive down any road in this neighborhood, and see anywhere from 2 to 5 patches, sometimes more, and most of them are right next to each other.....the city should maybe consider repaving the roads, instead of spending several thousand dollars on adding a water park or skateboard park to the recreation center.

If it gives you any hope I got the state to give me $16 for a tire patch when I ran over some debris in construction.

But anyway, that does suck though, hope you get the money.

I was thinking of installing a flex section there, but had second thoughts. This seals my decision not to. The flex section hangs lower than the downpipe, and I've scraped my downpipe dozens of times already. It's rather scraped up on the bottom, but slides over bumps and survives.

a few years back a friend of mine tore his control arm and rim up hitting a pot hole on I80. I went with him and jacked the city up for 2200 in repairs. the guy was a dumbass but still if the roads were kept up it wouldnt be a issue. hell I've bottomed out on a few pot holes on the same highway. stock height in my accord.

They'd rather nurture their youth today so that they grow up, go to college, and make a living to contribute via taxes to pay for the repaving. :)

Their time projections are just off from yours.

If you ever experienced the roads around here, I gaurantee you wouldn't ever complain again...

Are you guys insisting I shouldn't complain? Rather just accept this as a loss which I can't afford to fix and be out of a car, not being able to get to work to make a living and put money back into the economy? Bitch please..

Man - what is everyone "the city doesn't owe you shit!" ?

Go for it man! Fu(k I'd hit the city up for all their worth (which often isn't much hah!). That could've caused massive damage! Assuming your car is legally low of course! Imagine if your exhaust came off and flew into another car/person?

No, I'm thinking it's more the mentality of "Well, nothing I can do about it" - if you'd get off your rears and get into the City Hall meetings, maybe you could let people know that you want your roads fixed.
