LOL, thanks Moe. My favorite exchange:

Another Supra on Freeway after a race: "Is that a Turbo?"
Me: Shaking my head "No"
Guy: "Bullshit!"

That was me running 7PSI through an NA exhaust on a long ass trip. Don't want the cops dinging me for Open downpipe when I'm miles away from home ;) We didnt really have much room to go WOT anyway, traffic :(

Turbo edit: You need to watch your driving, you almost got side swiped by a Rav4 :D

I pay more attention when I'm on the freeway than most people. And yes, I saw the Rav4. You didn't see my dodge?

Of course, it was beautifully done! I hope you have ABS. That whole thing was fucking hilarious.

ABS is for pussies that don't know how to control themselves in a panic situation. Also, when applied to racing, ABS is for pussies who can't be troubled to learn how to modulate brake pedal pressure.

xD Well in that situation I was surprised you didn't lock your calipers...

Okay, here's the pics of the CAI I promised...

That's where it picks up from. The only problem is avoiding water puddles when it rains.

Another shot of the pick-up. 3" piping all the way from here to the TB.

Okay, so it's been a few months. 9 to be exact.

sm_photo_missing.jpg

K&N filter cleaning kit. I know mine isn't K&N, but it's a great kit!

sm_photo_missing.jpg

Cleaned up, reinstalled, and ready to go racing!

Brakes on the next page!

Blah. Mountain rotors. They warp too easily. Warped 'em racing 1988SupraDreams...

sm_photo_missing.jpg

Brembo rotors! Hooray for top-tier (stock) stuff!

sm_photo_missing.jpg

Akebono PRO-ACT ceramic pads. As long as I'm keeping a pretty stock setup, these do wonderfully.

sm_photo_missing.jpg

And they come with shims, too!

Wow. New = Good

so do you know why you got a knock after changing your oil?

Possibilities! Likely suspects:
1. BHG about a year ago, with coolant in oil. Just did the HG.
2. Saw a bad ring on cyl #5 when the head was off.
3. Oil dipstick has been popping out, and the engine burns oil.

Take your pick! Any are possible. I had run it out of oil before... :aigo:
