In case anyone is wondering, my father requested no funeral, no wake. There's no point in me going back to Oklahoma other than to be there when his ashes are spread sometime next year. It seems that two long struggles are finally over. My father's battle with emphysema and my personal struggle with an N/A engine.
Believe it or not, I'm happy.

I'll be in Pomona Wednesday, flying back that evening. I may have to quit my job over this car. :aigo:
My boss already agreed to let me have the day off Wed. Then it threw a rod. He thought I would work that day instead? Now he's telling me I'm not experienced enough to drive the truck, let alone with a flatbed behind it? If he says he won't let me have the day off Wednesday, I'll quit.
Don't really like that job anyway. :icon_razz
