I'm not doing the swap. Aaron at Driftmotion is doing it for me. I was hoping that he would take pictures for me. Hopefully. I hope. Once the swap is over I won't post in this thread anymore. I'll have a new 1JZ specific thread.
And yeah, I'm going to have a VERY merry Christmas THIS year. LOL.

Sad news from back home today...
My father passed away last night. He was a very kind, caring soul. The world lost a very, VERY great man last night.
To compound my day, the rod knock got 2 million times worse coming home this morning. Oh yay.

Okay. So the 7M threw a rod, one week before the car was supposed to go to Pomona for the 1JZ swap. Oh well, life goes on. Now I need to find a way to get the car down there on Wednesday. I've already rented a U-Haul with a flatbed one-way to Pomona. ($256 later......)
This thread will finally be done, soon. I have been looking very much forward to this post. My long headache with the 7M is finally over. BIG SIGH!
In case anyone is wondering, my father requested no funeral, no wake. There's no point in me going back to Oklahoma other than to be there when his ashes are spread sometime next year. It seems that two long struggles are finally over. My father's battle with emphysema and my personal struggle with an N/A engine.
Believe it or not, I'm happy.
