Too bad you didn't pay with a CC; then you could just reverse charges/dispute charges and have your money back.

Sucks to have to wait this long for a product you payed to have shipped 2 day air.

Good luck.

I come from a land down under
Racer: Hence my "needs to vent" comment and as long as it remains as that no probs!

If it escalates into a flame war or a JawsGear slamming session without them being here to defend themselves I'll lock it down ok!

wow..... honestly IJ this has gotten out of hand. racer i understand you problem and i can relate. i had a similiar issue with SP about getting my turbo fixed where my car has been down for 6 months out of the last year to their antics and it was always "oh were just finishing it up and it will be out next week! im over nighting it to you now! etcetc" things happen. you knew vegas was coming up and that most vendors get busy with crunch projects up to that time and that there was a good chance this could happen. im not saying that it was right what happened to you but you are really acting like a little kid about this. grow up, call jaws gear this week coming up, explain what happened and go from there.

the worse part is that im betting once you get this resolved that you wont post what they did to help you out and make things right.

I'm not sure, but I think I saw somewhere that they were gonna be closed for the week. Someone recently posted a picture of their 1 piece driveshaft they had received, and I liked it. I'm not sure if I saw it posted here, their website, or ebay.........but I'm pretty sure I saw that. So, they did tell somebody, just not everybody obviously.

Racer..........I saw where you said that you ordered the DS at the same time you ordered ALL THE OTHER PARTS for your 1JZ. Are you doing a swap, or some major upgrading? This sounds like it was gonna take more THAN a couple days....but still irrelevant. I'm not trying to tear you story down, just a couple questions that came to mind as I read.

Oh, and one more question.........don't they need to get exact measurements from you before they start on your driveshaft? Maybe this should have told you there was a problem when you didn't get this request. Again, this would have been after you sent your money to the closed business, and too late.

I really hate this happened to you ( a fellow Alabama Supra brother). Is it their fault?.......Yes........but I don't think it should define them as a company. There are many happy customers of theirs on here. I just don't believe you will be one of those this time.

I don't think posting here will get you your driveshaft, If you are that unhappy, or pissed or out of commission, cancel the order and your get your stuff from somewhere else.
Without talking to them or giving them a chance to explain and posting here, you are achieving nothing.

All I want is a refund, and we don't answer to anyone on these forums.

I will have to ride a friend to the track this weekend, and NOT race my car because of what happened.

Coming into the thread comparing apples to oranges doesn't help MKIIINA, much less describing how you feel I'm behaving.

This was the only part I ordered for my 7M, not the 1JZ. All the 1JZ stuff arrived already, from people who work for businesses that will be attending the Vegas meet, so enough about that because I'm satisfied with everything else.

Racer......Your ordering a $400 DS for a motor that will soon be replaced? Maybe i'm missing something here? If that's the case, hit me up when you get ready to do your swap, I will probably take the used DS off your hands.......assuming you ever get one

Holy crap! :aigo:

We just got back into town from SILV. You ordered a part that has to assembled and built #1.

If you want a refund that is fine. I appologize that we were not here to build your driveshaft for you. But as a courtesy I am willing to build it and air freight it to you Next Day Air UPS at our cost for the inconvience.

We stand by our reputation and agree this is a small hickup we had due to the fact we had worked 48 hours straight attempting to get the car ready for SILV which wasn't completed and then drove 9 hours straight into vegas to be there to show our support.

Give me a call tommorow and we can straighten this out either way you want to go. Refund or Air freighted at no charge.

Thanks,

Jeff - Owner

Okay guys...

I missed out the race I entered, oh well.

Jeff @ Jawsgear has set things straight! Talk about a helpful person. Not only did I go through with my original transaction, I'm also satisfied. I am also sending him more business, after one conversation.

I hands down recommend them to anyone now, and am complaint free.

Thanks Jeff.

I love working in a small busniess, because you have the power to help people like this. Working at a big company you have to leave a bunch of customers in the dust unless something is handed down from above.
