If you could make a video of that exhaust you would be doing me a huge favor. I want to buy that system but i cant find any sound clips : (

I already have one. It just isn't on youtube. I will get around to it tomorow. (PM today) I see there is already one up. The 7M whir easily over powers the low drone at load.

Mine exhaust is fairly quiet, even with a 3" ddp and 3" test pipe. The catback I have is a Sheepdog Prof Sport Exhaust, full 3", resonated. Straight exit. Very quiet. I need to get a decent video of it though.

Car does not shoot fire balls, Its tuned properly and is not vented to atmosphere. And being automatic. I have never shot a fire ball or popped loudly either :)

Only because I have a 4 ft straight section coming from the downpipe that stops at the rear axle. :D
Side exit? Bet your passengers hate you on long trips...

hmmm, So I guess I was wrong wen I thought they used angled tail pipes so that the slipstream coming off the side of the car would create a vacuum and almost "suck" the exhaust flow out increasing flow... Guess I was wrong... lol

Might not be entirely wrong in that idea, the theory sounds good to me, but I don't have the racing experience to say for certain. Hot air does follow cold air though...

Anyone with a bit more info to shoot down that idea or lift it up?

Only somewhat works on side exits. The angle on "rice cannon" mufflers is for straighter flow (though I'm still skeptical if it really does anything at all)

Well, can't get much straighter than the RS*R and still go out the factory location on the left... I think the thing had ONE bend in it, about 10° if I remember correctly. Sounded appropriately too... That said, I'd be curious to do some dyno testing on different exhaust setups, to see which one makes the most power on the same car. Sooooo many variables though, I suspect it'd be hard to get 100% accurate results.

Angled and straight can both look good or not so good. I personally prefer a clean double tip angled exhaust!

Got angled on my car, but it's cheap ebay exhaust so isn't that clean. Not bothered doing anything about it tho.

I always wanted to do a side exit on this car, I've had them on a few of my other cars. This car is too low though, even stock, it would have to be run through the interior and boxed in, and exit out the door. Not exactly ideal, and not worth the effort. Saw it on a few GTR race cars though, and it looked cool, but burnt the paint halfway down the side of the car.

I like my ebay exhaust, it's the boxed wine of the exhaust world. It'll serve it's purpose, just don't expect to impress anyone with it.

There's a guy on here with dual side exit exhaust, looks hideous in my opinion but if I remember his name I'll post it up...
