No, the IS300 2jz is different from the SC300 and Supra. Sc300 and NA Supras are the same though

cause if going na-t is that easy, i might just go that route with an is.

Have the blocked cleaned out, decked, clean the head, have it machined, new bearings, ARP head studs, a 2.0mm or so (depends on clearances and how much is machined) MHG, all new engine gaskets, and you have yourself a beautiful thing. And it doesn't cost too much either. I paid $600 total in machining/cleaning costs, and around $400 for the engine gasket set, MHG, and ARP head studs. All in all, great for a motor that will do 500 easy. With supporting mods of course.
Rent one of those U-stor places big enough to fit the car and engine on a stand and have someone trailer your car there. Poof, you have a place to work after you add lights and a heater. Or do you lack tools?supraGhost;1501350 said:well thanks for all the advice guys but ive sorta run out of options.
the gracious people letting me use their shop for free are moving in a month so i will no longer have the space.
and mike at ss performance hasnt returned phone calls or emails so i dont think he is interested in doing the swap.
and i cant really risk pulling this thing apart and not having time to put it back together before the end of february.

Nah seriously these cars can be a bank/heart breaker and you sound like it's going to be a big ask to complete it given the circumstances.
