Chris, right on, I agree: ALWAYS support the companies that support US! I know alot of guys will attest, 5 years ago when I first got into MKIIIs *or bought my first MKIII* trying to find performance parts were next to impossible!

I have personally dealt with Dave Boykin and Dave Henry on injector sets and turbo's and you aren't going to beat the package deal anywhere. Price, quality, communication, and personality.

Ack, I ended up finding a cheap SP63 .81 ($700, A/R was a little bigger than I wanted, but we'll see how it goes) on supraforums, sorry db' wont be buying a gt40 from you- unless this sp63 displeases me somehow... but from what I hear the sp63's are awesome street turbos.

no worries chris. glad you found a turbo.

funny thing i got up this am and had an email bout the pricing haha.
its fairly labor intensive to machine and build. the custom built gt4088 w/ diff turbine to fit the 68 housing is an extra $200. apparently you cant just get it w/ the 81 housing and swap the 68 housing on. a lot more involved by machine work and swapping to a diff turbine wheel. for the standard gt4088 81 the price is still stands. let me know if anyone wants to go this route.

take care-

dave

justin-
yes the .84 housing is a standard option for the gt35. nothing needs to be modified/machined to make it work.
i watched the vga w/ my son. go re! can you dig it!?

Hello Dave- What are the options available for the GT3040? BB? Turbine A/Rs and prices? Thanks a lot.

You guys are probably like "why so small?" with your GT4088s.....lol
