I'm thinking that there is something wrong with your MBC. Close the valve all the way and see if you can blow through it with an air compressor.

ok i reomoved the pressure line from the compressor and couldnt blow through it at all.i winded it out all the and i blew through it while winding it back down until i couldnt blow anymore...it seems as if i stoped where i had set it yesterday so i propably just didnt set it far down enough?i will play with it later cuz i have to go to school but it just seemd odd that i had wind it half way down and still no results (didnt wanna blow anything up)

ok false alarm, i turned it aprox. 4 turns after i stoped blowing air through and now i'm getting 8.5-9 psi!damn it feels good:icon_bigg i still wanna fine tune it to 10 but i'm happy with it now...thanx and im sorry for the confusion guys, i just didnt wanna blow anything up.
Sorry to hijack this case closed thread but It makes more sense than starting a new one. I,v done just about everything I can think off to seek out a similar problem. Boost leak check, turbo has minimal shaft play and no smoke. I shimmed the waste gate about 1/8th of an inch today and on top of that opened my home made bleeder valve all the way and I still only hit 4 psi in 2nd and 5 psi in 3rd. What could this be???:1zhelp:
Close it fully . Then Back it out 5 turns . Then Drive the car.Just dont drive with the controller CLOSED. Less vaccum More Boost. Vaccum OPENS The waste gate. REMEMBER CLOSED WILL BLOW IT :aigo:

I doubt its a problem due to not bleading enough I dont think I could blead any more if I just pulled the hoses off! Could my factory exhaust be choking my turbo too much for it to spool any higher?
negative, but Im building one as we speak. So theres a good chance its my exhaust? First cat probably. I didnt think exhaust could choke it bad enough to limit me to 4-5 psi
How much of a restriction do the stock mufflers and stock elbow cause? I do have an RT cat laying around here somewhere that I will throw in when I my downpipe is done. Hopefully I can pick up a 3 in elbow soon to go on as well, but the way it looks now, I will be running with the stock elbow and 2nd cat back exhaust for a while.
