Hello all, As the title says I am a Celica All-Trac owner (nut actually, pictures of my cars below). A buddy of mine (ArmandoP) bought a MK3 Supra Turbo with a BHG (is this the only site where that acronym is universally understood?), recently the car was pretty much, minus a possible vacuum leak, repaired and I got a ride in it. After a few donuts and a visit from the police (stupid neighbors) I was hooked!!! I guess I just have a love of over weight 80's and early 90's turbo Toyota's.

This is the '93 All-Trac. One of 81 produced for the '93 model year for the North American market. The previous owner did a lot to it but I changed a few things to improve it a bit. All options and features on the car still work including A/C and cruise. The current conservative tune is for 380 AWHP at 22 PSI but this car will likely never be done as I still have a lot of things I want to do to it.

This is the '92 All-Trac. One of 271 produced for the '92 model year for the North American market. I bought this car with 46K orig. miles and it now has 48K and a spun rod bearing....not too sure how it happened but it did so now she is hibernating the garage awaiting funds to be fixed. This is likely one of if not the cleanest '92 in the country.

Nice Celicas. Armando got a sweet ass car, too bad the kid before him was an idiot. :icon_bigg

Oh, and welcome to SM.

Yep, I like his car....it needs work but he is trying to do stuff right and not get in a hurry. Hopefully in the next couple of years I can find me a Supra to play with a little bit.

I think part of my problem is I am having boost withdrawl, my black Celica is in Iowa for some rust repair work and my DD is an Olds Underacheiva but riding in his told me I had to get me one at some point.

thats fucking insane...i've always wanted one of those...nice cars man.

They are great cars to build and it's amazing how well they handle power and the gearboxes are about as close to bullet proof as you can get (compared to Evos and WRX's at least) but it's a double edged sword....no one makes parts for them unless it will work on an MR2 as well and they are just plain hard to work on....kind of like 10lbs of shit in a 7lb box, just ask anyone who has worked on one of these mechanical assholes. There is one in south Florida that should be in the 9's this season.

Bummer on the wheel choice for the all-trac...

Otherwise, badass. Reminds me of car a friend of mine had... before he bought an SW20, LOL.

You know, I didnt like them in pictures either until I saw them in person and then picked them up. theyre 3 piece custom made 18 inchers. wide and light.

Anywho, Glad you finally got on here bro. After owning an ST165 I can vouch for the complete and total pain in the royal ass that is alltrac maintenance and repair. Of course, I can also say from experience how much of a lbast that black car is when you just romp on it and it lurches forward with no drama at all.

And for the record... yes, the previous owner of my car is um, an idiot.

Hells yeah...nice car man. I am doing a wiring for one atm > 86? All Trac harness > 89 computer > both of which going into a 1990 Celica. Can't wait to see that one done.

Yep, I am surprised you foregave me for that ST165 experience! When the black car needs to come home I'll be sure to give you a call (I'm sure I'll have to do a lot of arm twisting to get you behind the wheel of it again).

Man, that 93' is so nice. I've always loved the all-trac's. What turbo is that? Welcome to SM :icon_bigg

GT35R; I have a lot more I want to do to the car, it needs a real oil filter and I need to relocate the oil filter. I want to use a 5S block for the bottom end since it is a stonger block and 10% more displacement is nice too. I also need to get the carbon fiber driveshaft ordered for it too. The car currently runs an Autronic EMS and I keep thinking I need to go AEM. I also want to do a little more with the ingnition system. I am sure anyone on here will agree you are just never done when it comes to modifying your baby.

That's what I'm affraid of....another car. I'm not exactly the poster child for one project car but since the IS300 is still under warranty that means no boost so I guess I will need to get a Supra for my boosted straight 6 fix.

 em but they make Mk3's look light by comparison ;)

They weigh in at between 3200 and 3400lbs depending on options, so they are pretty much elephants and pretty slow stock....the beauty of it is no one really knows what it is, so a modified one can really shock people (Celica's are just not supposed to be that fast).

I come from a land down under
John: It's about one of the only cars I'd consider getting rid of the Mk3 for :)

Just was a bit shocked that they're so damn heavy for a little car but then again no one expects the Mk3 to be as heavy as it is when told.

Hey John, trust me, no arm twisting required. I have an idea... Since you can only drive one at a time I say we strike a deal. You can spend money on my Supra and we can pretend like you own it. Ill let you drive it whenever you want and even keep it at your house. :icon_bigg:
See, you get all the heartache and all the fun of owning one and none of the initial expense.:bigthumb:

Alright; a support group for irresponsible automotive spending! I knew I came to the right place.

Looks like you have already implemented that plan of yours too....I like the picture of your car in front of my house in your avatar. :bigthumb:

I sense....a meet! :)

Actually, aside from that - Armando & John:
Considered coming to Ohio Supra's this year? I think Armando already said something about it, maybe...cannot remember, though.
John: If you love you some Supras and high hp cars and tons more Supra's...
You just might want to consider it. ;) (Refer to sig for details). :)

Yep; Armando mentioned it and if he is going I will likely be there...probably driving the support vehicle (the one with all the tools, jack, flashlights and other crap you need when you are driving a long way in car of questionable reliability). You certainly don't have to twist my arm to go to car shows!
