I'm sick in a strange way

I believe its being caused by some back or neck pains... but... I am literally shivering under 3 thick blankets, so damn cold... unless I take like 3 advil I am not able to get out of the blankets! As soon as I take the advil I start sweating incrediably bad... so then I can function out side of the blankets. This has been going on for 3 days now and my girlfriends been taking care of me a little so its ok I guess it just sucks. I've been drinking tons of hot chocolate which warms me up and tastes yummy... but man this is getting old.

Not meaning to scare you...but have you been tested for HIV? I know someone that turned up positive (too many hookers!) and those were some of his first symptoms.

No, I've only been with 2 girls, 1 being a virgin and I haven't even hit it yet, and the other my ex who was only with one guy and just got tested recently A-OK. lol... I'm pretty sure its being caused by my back and neck, I get headaches or other random shitty feelings when I sleep wrong.

Okay, thats good! It just sounds like you got a flu bug. I really don't think at your age, you'd get all those symptoms, by just "sleeping wrong" ! But... I'm not a doctor. However, I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!:icon_razz

I would get really hot on the outside, like, my entire body ( but keep in mind i was under 3 blankets so it makes sense ).... but still felt cold as hell. My girlfriend thought it was wierd. I've had other wierd random problems, yeah I will go to the doctor sometime in the future.

Yeah a doctor visit would be a superb idea. Last time I felt like you do, I had strep.

yep flu break off, the shivering is from going into shock. and the neck and back pains are from laying around.

this happend to me one time. i was in P.E., freezing cold and curled into a ball inside a sweatshirt. i couldn't get warm even tho it was 85* outside. it just came and went in a day.

go see a doctor if it continues.
