Idle Problems.

if your boosting and its leaking.....what do u think it going to do on idle???

did u even see the video, the car is IDLEING ok, no boosting, not enough pressure goin through on idle to make it leak. you will not sputter on idleing with a friggen boost leak, not like that kinda sputtering. uhm u done yet?

also, the car runs fine for a few minutes on startup...when it starts warming up thats when the problem occurs...

yep also chek ur gaps on the plugs

replaced the plugs and gapped them according to spec.

gap them less then spec, like 29. that might help the sputter under load. once it warms up does it idle fine? or does it just do it during warm up?

Your vid reminds me of a improperly adjusted tps with the lope going on.
I thought you said you checked the afm in another thread but I forget.

im running vpc...so no afm...the tps was replaced and it seems fine, wat are the voltages closed and at WOT?

I just thought about this when i saw your fs thread... but wouldnt running "750cc" injectors that actually flow at over 900cc's with a 550 chip for your vpc cause problems? Wouldnt you be able to tune it right with the same rated chip? Just a thought.

ok it doesnt look like its the timming, i tried to reset the timming...did TDC and set the cps. Im using the big injectors but like i said before...it was doing this with the 440's

and underboost it does miss....

Oh. What chip did you have in it when you had the stock injectors in? Plus I see you said you reset the timing, did you ever check with a timing light to be sure?
When excaclty did it start doing this? Was it after installing anything new or changing anything?

I've ran the 440 chip with the 440 injectors and it did it...i havent checked it with the light yet...Im not sure when this started...maybe after the 2nd manifold.

Its just that from the way you talked this weekend, it sounded like the problem was you were running too rich. The car even sounded like it idled fine when I heard it.

im only running super rich under boost...reason why i need smaller injectors. I hit 8-10psi and car drowns...heh

Then I am unclear about the problem, I will have to waite till I get home later to listen to the videos.... Was I missing something this weekend, cause your car seemed like it idled just fine. And it seems like your only problem is not being able to control your fuel.
